Bachelor Of Science (Hons) Chemical Technology

Chemical Technology is a field of science that focuses on the processing of materials and products involving chemical science, methods and equipment. The Chemical Technology Program is offered by SMEs to meet the growing demand for skilled labor in the public and private sectors. The program combines Chemical Science, Chemical Engineering and other related fields, particularly Information Technology and Business Management. This enables graduates to fully understand their knowledge, with a high appreciation of technology and its applications that will contribute to the development of the country's industrial sector without neglecting sustainable environmental management.

In the first year, students will take basic courses in Chemistry. They will be introduced to the basic and complementary subjects of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering as well as some of the most important liberal subjects in producing students with the right personality to become leaders in the industry, trade and public sectors in the second and final years. Students will take Industrial Training in the third semester of year three to expose students to the realm of work and gain real experience in technical, management and social aspects.
