The Bachelor of Counselling programme provides education and professional training for those who aspire to be counselors in government departments or private sectors. The programme is recognized by the Civil Service Department and has received accreditation by Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia.
The programme commenced in 1997 with the aim to provide education and professional training for those who aspire to become certified, highly trained and competent counselors. A comprehensive curriculum was developed for this programme to ensure it fulfills and cater to demand of the industry and community.
The programme is accredited by the Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA/SWA11276) and fulfills the requirement standards established by the Malaysian Board of Counsellors (Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia) which is the Malaysian professional counselling body.
