The Bachelor of Nursing program at UPM was first offered in 2004 by taking nursing diploma graduates and the duration of the program is for 2 years. Beginning in September 2012, the 4-year Bachelor of Nursing program began to be offered. In September 2014, the postgraduate program; Master Science (thesis) and PhD (thesis) in field of nursing are beginning to be offered.

All students must meet the admission requirements as follows set by MOE, UPM Senate and Malaysian Nursing Board.

The Bachelor of Nursing in UPM continues its tradition in the nursing education by offering a contemporary curriculum including core and specialty nursing courses that prepares graduates to provide care to people of all ages and in all settings. This program offers a 4 year degree that has been fully approved and accredited by the Nursing Board Malaysia. In addition, the International Center of UPM support globally International nursing experiences through international student exchange, which allows students to expand their knowledge and skills of nursing care.
CAREER & INTERNSHIP INFORMATION
- Nursing graduates may pursue a career in filed of education, They can be nurse educator and clinical instructor in the colleges and universities
- As clinical practitioner in hospital or community graduates can also be nurse manager, rehabilitation nurse, counselor, health educator/advisor, nurse consultant/specialist, diabetic nurse and as a occupational health nurse
- Graduates can also undertake postgraduates' course in any field and become researchers.
